LSAT

I am learning that in life there is a substantial difference between what must be true and what could be true.

Often questions tell you that all of the following are true EXCEPT that one little option hiding in the corner, which you’ll never find.

There are assumptions and suppositions behind every existing argument. No joke.

Premises and conclusions may appear in whatever order and in whatever form they like.

When questions ask you about the author’s attitude, you honestly don’t even know about your own.

Nothing is set and most challenges result in complex logic games which make fun of you for not choosing the best answer.

Now it is my turn, the ball is in my hands.

Our decisions are usually based on what we feel in the moment we make them. It is good to be influenced in this way because these little particularities make up the uniqueness of our lives. It is a characteristic of ourselves, and ourselves alone: “I did that because I felt it”.

I do not know if it will work, if it will happen, if it will be just like I imagine it. What I know is that this is my chance to shape my life, select my path, make the adjustments I need to get to what I want.

After all, the end justifies the means. Right?

quote I’m not saying it’s going to be easy. Nothing in life is easy. But that’s no reason to give up. You’ll be surprised what you can accomplish if you set your mind to it. After all, you only have one life, so you should try to make the most of it.

As you’re leaving, please, would you close the door?
And don’t forget what I told you
Just because you’re right, that don’t mean I am wrong

Time

I really do not understand time. There are those times when it rushes out of our lives and we have none left for ourselves. Other moments when it walks slowly by our side, mocking the dullness of our days. Sometimes it feels like there aren’t enough hours in a day. It is a race between you and time. The price if you win are those seconds when it stops, everything you want is there: beautiful view, relaxing place, maybe company. You feel the sun in your face, wind whispering in your ears and you know that you have been granted a few instants of victory over time. With no immediate rush, no useless races, no unnecessary slowness.

Those are moments that you will remember forever. Those precious seconds in which time does not move and you do not have to run. This is not comparable to when you are free and have nothing to do. This is a brief time in which you sense that your life genuinely froze for you. To make sure you enjoy your seconds without distress, without pressure and without time’s unstoppable ticking. Many fear what comes next in life, its unpredictability and its uncertainty. If the future is unforseeable, one thing is sure: you can worry about it day by day. I, among most people, should learn this lesson.

“The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at the time.”

-Abraham Lincoln

Lately, all I’ve wanted was to tell.

To tell people how I feel, to tell them that I am scared about the future, to tell them that I hope everything works out for me and for them, to tell them that right now I feel weak, to tell them that I am surpised about how time flies so fast, to tell them that I am nostalgic, to tell them that I want to go home.

But I just smile and I think it shows in my eyes.

I almost feel that you will not disappoint me again.
That everything works out in the end.

Sometimes you just have to learn how to appreciate what you have and not reach too high. If you are meant to have it, possibilities will rise for you to earn it. Good things come to those who wait.
